Value of 2012 Honda Ridgeline RTS with 42,000 miles in rust-free Texas
Hi. A 92-year-old relative just passed away who was the original owner a 2012 Honda Ridgeline RTS with only 43,334 miles. It is in great shape but needs 1) new tires as it still has the 2012 tires, 2) timing belt/ water pump/ tensioner and idler pulleys as they are over 10 years old (this is beyond my mechanical ability and experience), and 3) a replacement headliner, which I should be able to do myself. The truck experienced a minor accident, was rear ended, when it was a year old, but a respected body shop fixed it up so hopefully that is fine. What is a fair price to pay for this garage-kept, new looking vehicle? I just drained and filled the transmission, transfer case, differential, replaced all brake pads (yes, I used Akebono pads as Scotty recommends ;^), new engine and cabin air filters, and changed oil & filter. I don't want to spend $15K plus the above maintenance items, but based on Edmunds, that is the number I am thinking of offering. Thanks!
Give the Kelley Blue Book site a look. Their prices tend to be overinflated but are supposedly based on recent sales.
@hixster Thanks. The ranges for Kelley Blue Book and Edmunds agree pretty well.
