Hey Scotty,
I've seen your videos about the mid-1990s Toyota Camry and how bulletproof they are. Well I searched and found a 1996 model that's not far from me with only 54K miles on it. The only thing is they want $6,900 for it. They've got service history, and it's accident free. Is the cost too high? I tried checking KBB.com, and they come out with a significantly lower price. I figured this would be a better beater car than the 2006 Kia Spectra5 I've got with 105K miles on it. What do you think?
That is way too high a price for a nearly 30-year-old Camry, regardless of the suspiciously low mileage - which would have to be verified to be believed. Also you don't necessarily know that it's accident-free or in good condition until it's examined by a good mechanic before even thinking of handing over the cash.
+1 for too high
