So basically, the question i stumbled apon was which car should i get for high school. I want something that atleast looks nice and goes fast, but also reliable and wont break down on me easily.
A wise mechanic once told me “Fast, reliable, cheap: pick any two of the three, but you cannot have all three.”
In this case, if going for reliability and cost I would look at an older Toyota Corolla, Honda Civic, and even an old Crown Vic. You can search our forums for better years to get. Don’t worry about looking “nice” for a starter car: you want something reliable and won’t break the bank in maintenance and repairs.

Something tells me you haven't started looking yet.
I think you're going to end up settling for "not fast", "has blemishes", and "runs but needs some work".
Whatever you get, have it inspected 1st so you don't end up with a total dud.
A used Civic Si.
ah yes the "high-schooler's choice"
Well I'm assuming you're a high school age student and in this case probably a new ish driver. In this case definitely would not recommend anything that goes fast; it's just not a good idea for a high school age driver. But for reliable then look at the older Civic or Corolla; Scotty has a video on which years of these cars are good to buy (linked below). And with all cars you have to take care of them and do the required maintenance if you want it to not break down; you can't just drive a car without doing maintenance and expect it to not break down.

I don't know of any car ever made that fulfills all your requirements. Why, exactly, does it have to be fast?
Scotty likes his Matrix quite a lot. Basically a corolla with less of a grandma vibe. Speaking of which, the Pontiac Vibe is basically the same car but usually a touch cheaper.
Or my personal favorite in that category/price point would be a first-gen Scion tC (the second gen just doesn't have the same aesthetics). It's basically a toyota, too. Just be aware that a lot of them were abused boy-racer-style, so definitely be choosy.
I’d say go for a V6 Toyota Camry or V6 Honda Accord if you want fast and reliable but since you’re a high school student and likely a new driver, I’d honestly recommend just settling for a Civic or Corolla for now

You may not like my choice, but if its only to get to school and back and whatnot, I sapose a ford flex wouldn't be a bad car. They look decent, not the best but good enough. They can reach highway speeds which is really all you need unless your taking it to the track. And I'm not 100% sure about reliability but I know people with ford flex and they didn't break on them a single time. As long as you change the oil regularly and keep it maintained, I think a ford flex will be right for you. If you want to bring multiple friend with you somewhere, then get the one with 3 row seating. Otherwise just get the 2.
The 3.5 V6 is a really stupid design. Stay away.
