I'm looking on buying a toyata Corolla xrs 2005 one has 101,000 miles but it has had 5 owners and it looks a little beat up, scratches tints on headlights and taillights, fading paint, from the car fax it looks like it's been sitting for like 2 years since 2019. However there is this other one that's being sold by a toyata dealer and it looks completely fine just some faded headlights and the paint is amazing but this one has like 170,000 miles on it. The lesser mileage one just needs a clutch replacement. So I think that's already a red flag. thoughts???????

The dealer is the red flag here.  I would have the Carolla xrs inspected by a competent, independent mechanic and pass on the dealer offering all together.

Definitely the lower mileage one. You stand to get much more use out of it. The problems are just cosmetic.

Of course make sure you get a thorough mechanical inspection before buying anything.
