- Hey Scotty was just watching your spark plugs video on YouTube and found my way to here.. I could really use your advice. I left a message on the video but on here I can show you.. I'm learning how to work on my car and my car won't start. We went over a mountain and it over heated and blew a hose off and God knows what else. Oil got into my water and now I think my oil pan blew a gasket. It's a 2010 Honda Civic EX 1.8.. It's a good car but the it's been wrecked and fixed and sat under a tree for 10 years. We got a good deal on it and can't afford to do much with it.. any help would be greatly appreciated!! Love your videos and hope to hear from you..

So this car ran for one year, then got parked for 10? Must have been a helluva accident. If there is oil in the coolant, you may have a blown head gasket, which can result from overheating.Good luck.
