my car broke down while i was driving and wont start i brought it to the mechanic he told me i need to change the cam sensor and spark plugs he changed them then said ther was no compression and some thing might be wrong with the enginre and it is misfiring my car wont start and now i brought to honda to get diagnoses what u think is wrong the car ony has 120000 kilometerres
if there's no compression then it will do all of those things. Very expensive problem.
What did Honda say?
Sorry, but the only information you provided about your car is that "it doesn't start"
That narrows the problem down to about 1,267 possibilities.
We don't have the car in front of us to diagnose. Judging from your question, you don't have the skills to investigate either. That means you are dependant on a mechanic to find the problem. Your only job is to find a good one. You already took it to Honda, so all you can do is wait and see what they find, and if they fix it.
while you wait, you can watch Scotty's videos about why cars don't start. You can find them on the 'Frequently Asked Questions' page
Your mechanic just took advantage of you. Did he scan for codes before throwing parts at the problem?
they said the code that wa showing up was for a cam sensor
they replaced it and tey put spark plugs they were still trying to figure the problem out but they said there may be a big engine problem so i brought it to honda they havent diagnosesd it yet thx for
what do u think the problem is
