I was looking at a 2013 Honda Accord V6 and saw that it was equipped with a 6-speed automatic.
I thought the V6’s also had a CVT but I guess I was wrong. I know the Honda 5-speed has had some problems over the years, but any thoughts on the Accord 6-speed?
Is is more/less reliable that its 5-speed/CVT counterparts?

Well unfortunately the Hondas that have problems with their automatic transmissions are more often the v6 engines from too much power the four is generally don't have problem but that particularly year isn't known to have many transmission problems if car was not driven too hard. Of course before you buy have a guy like me check it out with his fancy computer to see what kind of shape the tranny is in
Scotty is spot on. The 6 speed automatic in that generation is relatively reliable if it was cared for.
