I live in Canada btw. Just bought car 1st owner only rustproofed once 10 years ago. Planning to rustproof yearly from now on

It is not that bad for a 10 year old car. The rusts seem to be superficial but you can check it yourself with a hammer.
Yes, surface rust is not a huge concern. If it chips while hitting slightly with hammer, then you should be concerned.

Looks darn good for canada. Look up rust proofing videos. The undercoat spray is actually worst, spraying oil all over the place is apparently good.
Or just have a major engine oil leak lol
If you live in area that has salty winters, rust is normal.
Don’t worry about rust, it’s lighter than carbon fibre.
