Hey Scott,
Thank you for the info videos. I'm almost got ready to buy a Honda EXL 2018 model, until I came across your video where it shows about the oil dilution issues. I was inclined to get either EXL 18 or any old model for Honda hybrid accord 17.
Not sure if this is a direct question, can you please suggest a decent car with good mileage/make model. I am looking for Honda or Toyota. Also, as per your recommendation, Toyota camrys post 2017/18 dont do that good.
So, can you please help me over here. This is my first car so I am thinking over and over again to invest the amount. Thanks again for your videos
Thanks,
Tom
I have a 2020 Honda Accord 2.0T Sport with 5k miles that has oil dilution. I put a catch can on the car when I bought it and change out the oil religiously every 5k miles. I think the guys trying to push their oil change intervals will be the ones to really suffer from the issue. The car itself has been great though. Very solid built vehicle.
I know the wife' 2015 Toyota Camry XLE has been a good vehicle as well. 75k miles on it and the only issue has been brakes. Did one brake job (rotors and pads) at 36k miles, and about to do another. And she never had these issues on her old 2011 Camry, so Toyota definitely switched suppliers on that. But otherwise it runs perfect.
Hello.. Thank you for the reply. I now understand that it is good to do regular oil changes religiously. As I am mainly focusing on mileage, I think I need to go with LX or EX. If I get LX model, can I install blindspot indicator as in 2018 model?
