Are the older Honda 4-speed transmissions any good (4-speed shiftable Triptronic transmission)? Im looking at a 2000 Prelude with 120k miles for around $2500.

Not really, some were good, some were bad. Best to avoid honda auto transmissions of this era. Manual transmissions, totally different story.
