Hello everyone,
I drive a 2014 Honda CR-V LX with 50K kms. When I started my car, the AWD indicator light (orange) turned on and stays on even after driving a while. This happened two weeks ago but it's gone after a while. But this time, it stays one.
I live in Canada where the temperature drops to -40 degrees Celcius and heavy snowfall.
What is wrong with this car? What should I do?
Run a scan for codes.
You should get a diagnostic scan.
I went to nearby oil change shop and asked them to scan my vehicle. But they said, they can’t because I don’t have engine light on and the scanner only catch the engine related problem.
don't go to quick lube shops (for anything)
Where should I go to?
A mechanic. See our FAQ page about how to find one.

A day after, the all-wheel-drive indicator light did not come on when I first start the car today. Do I still have to bring it to the dealer and get it diagnosed?
(Last year, the dealer diagnosed my car and said "the rear differential service needs to be done (Drain out the rear differential fluid and refill differential fluid or gear oil)". But back then when my car had a diagnosis, the AWD light wasn't on)
A good independent mechanic with a proper scan tool can diagnose the issue. You don't have to go to a dealer for that.
