I have a honda civic 1997 1500cc engine and have got it rebuilt just now, can you please guide me which engine oil should I use for my civic throughout? And is there any recommended engine oil for 1st and second oil change during my engines break in period and i also dont have the user manual ? Will highly appreciate your guidance... Cheapest name brand synthetic that's SN+ rated and weight that is indicated in manual for your driving conditions. I'd run the first 500 miles (break in) with conventional oil, I don't like throwing away 500 mile break in synthetic oil... cheaper (good) conventional oil not so much ; )
