Hey Scotty, I live in Southern Ontario and was looking at getting a 2018 honda civic sport touring turbo, I've heard alot of talk about oil dilution in these later models, but I've also heard that honda has issued updates to fix these problem. Should I stay clear or go ahead and buy it. Thanks alot.

Change the oil every 3000 even if it used full synthetic, plus clean the valves yearly.

Because this is a DGI engine.....

I would say go ahead and buy it. Just plan on changing your oil in 5k mile intervals instead of trying to stretch it.

My 2020 Accord 2.0T Sport has oil dilution and that is what I do. The guys who are asking for trouble are the ones that have the problem but still try to stretch their oil change to 10k mile intervals.
