Hey just wanted to see if its okay to use carb cleaner to clean the valves in the throttle body. I would imagine it is but just want to check with everyone. I'm doing it to my 90' F150 86k miles on it. I'm doing it because it idles a little rough in park and I did check the IAC and it looks good but I got a nice clean one from the junk yard so I might throw that on there as well.
No. Carb cleaner is for carbs. It's designed to leave a film of oil.
Use something intended for TBs. TB should be dry with no residue.

I would also remove sensors before cleaning it.
k will do thanks. yeah I didn't know it left a film on it.
Throttle body cleaner is pretty cheap, $6-$10
