Kinda need bit more info than that buddy. What is the price guy is looking for. Any damages to said car? If it runs and drives and is only 300$ I would say why not.

For an old, high mileage vehicle, you always want to have it checked first by a professional mechanic, before you buy it.
With that said, it’s not worth a lot with that mileage. Don’t buy it & plan to put 20,000kms/year as you’ll most probably have to spend a lot on wear & tear part replacements.
