Hey scotty, on your way to the east coast you should come see my car collection...hahaha. I'm caught in a dilemma as to which SUV to get. One is a 2007 Honda CRV with 147,000 miles for $5000.00 and the other is a 2004 Lexus RX330 with 200,000 miles for $3200.00. Which would be the smarter buy for the long run?

All else being equal, the Lexus.
However, since they’re both old, high mileage vehicles, pick the one that’s in better mechanical shape, after a professional mechanic checks it out thoroughly.
Also, factor in the costs of OEM Lexus spare parts.
