Should I buy an Element

Recently I've gone through a phase of wanting a Honda Element as I think it is an amazing utility car that I can use for when I move to the Rockies this summer for camping, road trips, and winter as well.

I found a 2003 Honda Element EX front wheel drive with only 150k miles for about $6500, I've been wanting to grab it asap since its also in that nice dark blue with light blue interior colour.

However, it's my understanding that the 2003 models have numerous issues. The later year models are all much too expensive in my area (10k+) with double the mileage.

How bad are these issues, around what mileage can I expect them, and will this car last me another      80-100k miles at least?

Thanks 🙂

Well for my experience they aren't that bad as long as the transmission is working okay. So have a guy check the transmission out to see how it works before you buy

Hey Scotty! Thanks for answering, I saw that the cars steeling wheel pop out a bit, does that mean the airbag has been deployed? The car has no signs of an accident nor does the carfax indicate any issues.
