I just looked at a 2003 Honda Element, fwd, with 170k and a manual transmission. Looks clean, sounds like it runs good, drives well, shifts good. It's at a local used car lot for $5900. Does this sounds like a good possible choice? Any problems with these to know about?
Thanks!

I thought that was way too much, but I looked on autotrader.com, and apparently that's what they are asking. Of course, get it checked out by a mechanic - 170k, 18 years, things wear out and break.
Thanks for the info. I pretty much expect any used car to have some issues
Definitely have a mechanic inspect it and make sure the valves don't need adjustment, along with anything else. If it is a clean title, it might be alright. More than I would pay but the market is high right now.
Yeah you're probably right. Thanks for the tip.
