I am along time Jeep Wrangler owner but after having so many issues with my last one, and looking to lower how much money I put into a car, I sold my Jeep. I am now looking at getting a Honda. I would purchase brand new (I know, not the Scotty way). I was looking at the Honda HR-V but have not seen many videos on it. Is the engine and transmission good? Only considering it because I bring my dog and baby with me, if not I would definitely just go with the Civic. I also looked at the Toyota Corolla Cross but it’s more expensive. Thank you all!

The HR-V is based on the Fit, and is limited for space. If you’re after space, look at the CR-V.
Out of the HR-V & Civic, I’d pick the Civic for its better space & handling.
With that said, have you test driven both?
