Hello guys, i do own a Honda Pilot 2018 EX and recently i've read about the Rod bearing recall, since i don't know much about cars had to ask, are engines built the same for different continents/countries? since i live in the middle east in Kuwait, should i be worried on the recall issue? or is it only for USA owners? when i asked a supervisor in the dealership here he didn't confirm or deny about this matter, any suggestion to keep the car or sell, or just wait for repairs? our dealership may take forever to notify the consumers, yet when i read on Piloteers forums some people have 400k+ mileage on the pilot 2018, just confused what to do.

Maybe look up where your particular engine was made?  They most likely don't have individual ID numbers anymore, but typically, engines are made in more than one location. Compare it to the US version of that same engine, if it has one, and you could possibly anticipate recalls, if the US-made and Middle Eastern-made engines were made in the same factory, you might anticipate the engine having similar issues.
