Hey guys sorry in advance, I know it's aginst scotty website policy to promote something but I have good news that actually might help alot of people out in that town area.
So I have found this mechanic and I love his work

Has bachelor in automotive
Pricing are not outrageous
If anyone from dallas Frisco plano Mckinney looking for work done he is the goto guy
My friend has honda civic his struts went bad. He went to Christian brother and they were charging him $900. He went to him and it cost him $500 with labor and his car still running and he put on 3000 miles on it no issues
My dad went to kwik kar I think I mention how they charged him $1200 or his camry to replace struts cv joints. He got them done for $600 and my dad put on another 2000 miles and they still running strong
I took my fiat Abrath to him. My front rotor broke he front replaced with new brake pads and with full synthetic fluid for $250 and I am a rough driver and car is still running good
And I also asked people around neighborhood who got there car fixed. They said he is honest good and loyal mechanic and get the job done with reasonable price and labor. Although he is short staffed due to covid impacted his business but I am trying to help him out. I don't want him to go down or loose business

Depending on what part of town, I’d probably suggest: Parra, City Garage, and Christian Brothers. Those are mid-sized operations with reputations for being reasonably honest. I’m sure you can find little independent guys, but you would have to ask around your local neighborhood. Good luck and welcome to town!

Not sure why the link on the FAQ page for Fort Worth goes to this thread. Anyway, if you are on the west side of Fort Worth I highly recommend Nykaza's Auto Repair.
Because the person who submitted the suggestion for Allstar claimed it was in the "Dallas/Fort Worth area".
Turns out it's in Addison, 40 minutes away.
