I have a 2024 Land Cruiser 250 (1958 spec) hybrid 2.4l turbo sold in the Canadian market. DRLs stay on permanently. I intend to use this vehicle to go camping and want to use some of the features which means leaving the car turned on and using the hybrid battery to power accessories overnight. I want to over-ride the DRLs so they stay off while to vehicle is parked. Will switching for a US spec light stalk (that has an off function for DRLs) work? If not is there another solution? Pack of Marlboros and bottle of Absolut in hand. Thanks.

No. It's programmed into the computer.

Every Canadian vehicle I've owned had an override for when the vehicle is parked. Could be a switch on the dash, could be setting the parking brake, etc. You need to read your owner's manual.
