Hi Scotty,

Greetings from Tokyo, Japan. Hope you are doing well.

My car is a Mercedes 280S from 1971 (W108 chassis, m130.016 naturally aspirated 2800cc inline 6 engine with 4 speed automatic transmission) which I had for the last 7 years.

I managed to pull out the cabin heater unit and disassembled it to clean it up. I did this because the valve O-rings weren't good any longer and the coolant started to leak a bit around the valve. While at it, I will change the brush on the motor and the lightbulbs in the control. I removed the heater core matrix and want to know what is the best way to clean the inside of it. What kind of method and chemical do you propose for this? Thanks a lot.
