In the owners manual, often times there is a “severe conditions” maintenance schedule.

It usually means for frequent oil changes, filter changes, other fluid changes. Not to mention also more frequent inspection of suspension components. And possibly more frequent replacement of suspension components.

Check your owners manual for your regular and severe conditions maintenance. If there isn’t a severe conditions maintenance, it might be a good idea to take the regular maintenance schedule and do it at half the recommended intervals or better.

You mean like dirt roads? Or just poorly maintained asphalt?

Things like suspension parts will wear quicker.

Make sure you keep adequate air pressure in the tires to prevent flats.

The underbody and rocker panels may rust faster if there's stones flying around underneath.

Consider getting mud flaps.
