Hello Guys and Scotty! Got a Honda Civic DX 2006 with 278km, Just wondering how can I make this baby last while also having fun with it. Is it okay to hit VTEC once in a while or should I just granny shift this baby until shes done?

It is an old car with high mileage.
If I were you, I would change the engine oil regularly and change the coolant.
Baby that car if you do not want to have unexpected repairs.

Sounds good, so that means no more hitting VTEC... its been fun you know.
You can go to higher rev to feel the VTEC. At the end of the day, it is up to you if you want to have fun and ruin the car or keep the car and drive it. It is my personal opinion, but you can ask other people too.
