Do you all think that hydrogen fuel cell cars will sell alongside electric cars in the future?
It's too soon to tell. Infrastructure will be a big challenge. They are testing semi truck fleets with fuel cells right now. Ask again in a decade.
Market dynamics & time will reveal that one.
It’s hard to tell, because things can change in a whim.
With that said. Although there has been tons of concepts across makes, only Toyota, Honda, and Hyundai have one model each in production. And very few are planned for the future.
With EV’s, more makes have announced plans to move toward EV’s rather than hydrogen fuel cell: VW, GM, Toyota, Honda, Hyundai, Ford...
I like the idea of hydrogen fuel cell cars...they're really cool. I think it will be a mix of fully-electric and hydrogen fuel cell, whichever people prefer and what is more readily available in the area (electric stations or hydrogen stations).
