Was it a mistake to get the 2009 vibe with the 2.4 liter engine with 68k miles?
My daughter has a 2004 Vibe with 1.8 liter engine and doesn’t burn a drop of oil.

If it has a 2AZFE engine, odds are that it may end up burning oil.
Not currently burning oil but I intend to change oil very often to prevent oil burning problems.
First thing I notice the air and cabin filters were neglected and even scarier the owner brought the car to Walmart for service!!
They usually start burning oil at higher mileages. The best thing is to change the oil religiously. The air filters are not a big deal, change them.
