I had my rear dif oil sucked out and replaced at a Valvoline lube n oil place. Awhile later my carrier bearing on driver's side went out. When I drained the dif oil it seemed like not much came out. Did they not put enough back in? Or did I burn off...

This is a pretty typical chain store horror story, which is why you never go to these places.  Differentials do not burn oil.  Carrier bearings will burn up from lack of lubrication.  I wouldn't be surprised if they forgot to put any gear oil back in at all.

Thats a bummer. I only got maybe a quart out when i drained it. Silver from my carrier bearing? I wonder if there is any legal recourse ? So if it didnt burn and oil then then only put in what i got out?

Your question got cut off because you typed it into the wrong box.

All I can say is, never EVER take your cars to those quick lube places. Exactly for the reason you just described.

Your dog "Piddler" is better qualified to work on cars then they are. It's a job for high-school dropouts with absolutely no other prospects in life.
