- Chevrolet Malibu 2007 - I have a 2007 Chevy Malibu I replace the battery and relay switch when I go to start my car it makes a ticking noise and won’t start what is wrong?

Check all the wiring to locate any loose wires or bad connectors. Does your horn sound healthy and do your headlights turn on bright?

Sounds like either the starter solenoid, the starter, or bad ignition. Try hitting the starter solenoid with a hammer.
