I have a 2007 Dodge Charger SXT 3.5L with 235,000KM on it (146K miles) never had a transmission fluid change. How would I know it’s safe to flush the tranny? Also considering the age of the car are there any preventative maintenance items you would recommend to do?

um.... i think its over due for tranny flush but double check with manufacture on that transmission and what is schedule transmission oil change. check differential oil that might need be change.

I suggest you do a trans flush before you hit 60K miles.

check to see if you have any loose connections( like bolts, nuts, bad bearings) on axles, steering parts

change anifreeze every 4 years
