should of went with a Camry

Both cars would make excellent choices, so it's really a matter of preference. The Camry is a larger car, so it's roomier and generally will ride better. The Corolla is a smaller but it's a fine car also.

I am very scared about the cvt and wanted to know if i should go get a Camry

bad ?

No, not bad.

I have a 2018 Corolla

Replace fluid every 20k-30k miles,

Drive moderately and in an appropriate fashion for a CVT.

Why not? a Camry is very nice.

But transmissions are of similar reliability - you can browse on the form and find cases of premature faliure.

Looking at the reviews from owners for that year, there are no complaints about the transmission or engine, though there were more other complaints than I like to see.

I looked up a 2019 subaru crosstrek, and was shocked to see how many issues they are having with their transmissions, and at low mileage. Nissan CVT are much worse even.

If I were looking to buy one, it having a CVT would not be a deterrent to me buying it, as it is a Toyota.
