I have a 93 Honda Accord and it idles in park and dies out what can cause this so I can replace it? And why does it blow blue smoke out the exhaust when pressing on the gas?

You're burning oil. Hopefully it can be remedied by replacing your PCV valve. If that doesn't help it's probably piston rings or valve seals.

Put on a glove and swipe your finger around the inside of the tailpipe. (engine off and cool)

Black, greasy, residue is burning oil

Black, dry, sooty, residue is running too rich

Your car is running rich, could be something simple or something serious.

get a mechanic and have it diagnosed the. Decide if it’s worth fixing.
