Accidentally put atf fluid in brake fluid. How do I fix?

@kcsissy2u
Because both fluids are hydraulic type fluid they will mix somewhat but best idea is to flush out the two fluids with fresh brake fluid recommended by the car manufacturer using normal brake bleeding prosedures.

Evidentially too much. Just tapped off resivore

@kcsissy2u

Your going to have to siphon it out somehow or pay someone to.

It will need to be removed as ATF is flammable and not meant for use in braking temperatures whereas DOT3 and DOT4 are not flammable (combustible though) and are intended for use in the temperature ranges typically seen in braking applications. If you just topped it off and its sitting at the top of the reservoir I would suck everything out of the reservoir and replace it with DOT3.

Drain it from brake master cylinder using hand pump (or vacuum pump) and flush the whole braking system.
