Hey, Scotty!
My car is a 2004 Chevy Malibu. I bought it last August from a small dealer and recently I've been having an issue that it seems several people with my car have... often. When I start the car and try to go it feels like it's trying too hard. It struggles to get to 30. I have to get it up 10 and then release to go anymore. Then when I come to a stop sign or light it dies. I have to restart to go, but it doesn't die if I actually park, only when I try to idle.
What could be causing these problems? I've replaced the battery, Starter, and the alternator recently, but I've no idea where to start for these issues.
Thanks for being awesome!
How old is the fuel filter? Air filter? Is fuel pressure up to specification? When you scan it what are the diagnostic codes and live/freeze frame data showing?
