Honda civic 2011. 101k kms. Can faulty ignition coil cause rough idle cold start wehn putting load on the engine like when turning full lock steering while on D and aircon is on. Idle drops to around 600 rpm then it stays there for around 10 secs then suddenly goes back to normal. It just does this on cold engine. But it does not do it when it has already reached the normal temp.
Does your vehicle have EPS or HPS?
I have Hydraulic. My steering system is all new. I have read a post here similar to my issue of riugh idle only on cold start. Is it the ignition coils? But if i do not turn on the ac and put load on the COLD engine, my idle is stable
Honda fuel injectors love Gumout and Techron.
Also, change the PCV valve. Even if it looks good. The plastic eventually erodes or warps.
Well of course ignition coils can do that but still can many other things either. Get a scan tool if you know how to use it or pay a guy like me with one to see how the coils are fired and it shows all that information how the fuel injectors are firing. Lots of things can make them misfire
I hooked up a scan tool at cold start, Short term fuel trim is at -11.7. When the rpm drops when I give it a load on Drive gear, MAP kpa increases to 70+ but rpm still drops. Throttle position also stays at 14 %

Have you tried some fuel system cleaner for that rich condition? Also a basic tuneup?
I have cleaned throttle body, replaced spark plugs, fuel filter, valve adjusted, maf cleaned, egr, cleaned
