I have a 2019 Toyota Tacoma SR 3.5L V6. Is it okay to put my car in neutral while waiting for the light to change from red to green?

No. Leave it in drive like a normal person.

Just leave it in Drive, no real reason to go into Neutral in that context, especially if you are not sitting there for a “long” time.

As long as you do not roll, it is fine.
