I am a college student and I am currently thinking about buying a used 2008 Honda Accord EX Coupe with an automatic transmission with about 110k miles on it. for 8k I've heard good things about hondas that they are super reliable and can last over 200k miles it's in good condition. should I go for it or wait and see I can find a cheap one for half the price. If anyone has the same model or anyone that owns a honda I would gladly appreciate the help. Thank you!!
is it the 4 or 6 cylinder ?
i have a 2008 accord with the 4 and burns 1 quart of oil every 3000 miles

i would get it checked out by a mechanic, could be a fair deal, i like that body style
mine seems to have the oil burning issue, 1 quart is not terrible, but it only has 60k miles and will probably get worse, gonna keep it until the wheels fall off
8k is too high a price to pay, even in Canada!
'08 Accord LX 4 dr automatic, 156,000km (97,000 mi.) Full synthetic oil changed when warning message appears sometimes sooner. Does not burn oil. No problems with transmission. Has timing chain so keep up the oil & filter changes. Had injectors pressure cleaned that improved acceleration. Very reliable. Great reliable car!
