In the past 5-10 years, how long have your batteries lasted? Which battery brand did you have in the car? Make and model and year of the car?

Horribly. I have a farm and most of the batteries are made overseas. I go thru many batteries every year, they are all bad.
I buy my batteries at Costco now because they give me a new battery, no question asked if it’s within the warranty period. They don’t prorate.

there used to be one company that still makes batteries in the USA, does anyone know who they are?

DieHard and Optima are made in the USA.

Walmart batteries for the past 30 years.

One lasted over 10 years.  But changed most out at 5-6 years with only one failing prior.

Check the dates before you buy!

true, i bought a high dollar battery for my mother, didnt last as long as the walmart battery it replaced

They say "Johnson Controls" on them. Can't be too bad. Especially for the price.
