1. Random failure to start, when the failure to start is presented, she can hold down the gas pedal and it starts most of the time.
2. One time the start button acted like it was stuck and just continued to crank without pushing on it.
Took it to the dealer and they could not find any codes and did not charge for looking at it.
The dealer said to let it get worse and bring it back.
The dealer also recommended her to video the issue when it happens again.
---- It is getting worse, but it only happens about every 40 start attempts.
At this point I'm afraid my daughter will be stranded somewhere. Any ideas on what to look at?
First thing we are going to do is change the battery in the key fob.

Well pray it's the battery in the key fob or that the key fob is just bad. Hopefully you have more than one key fob. If you don't immediately go to the locksmith and get another one made and use that it may fix the whole thing
