how to change a 99 infiniti q x4 oil pump?

It is an insane job that a mechanic charge is about $1,200 labor for. You have to take the engine completely apart and the pump itself costs almost $400. If you really want to try you can get all data diy.com for 20 something bucks and it gives you the entire directions but believe me it is one hellacious job
