Hi Scottie, I was wondering if it's a good idea to add a fuel injector cleaner such as seafoam or Lucas to a brand new 2024 kia with now 1500 miles if I only fill up with 87 octane. Thanks, Dan
No.
Okay,
why would you need to clean the injectors on a brand new engine?
f I only fill up with 87 octane
all grades of gas have the same detergents in them. Octane has nothing to do with it.
Also, please use the search before posting new question. It's been answered a hundred times. Thanks.

Do not add anything to your fuel especially if there’s no issues. And never use seafoam on modern engines.
.
Use the gasoline grade found in your owner’s manual and go to a Top Tier gas station.
Okay, thanks
1500 miles
No.
It's a brand new car?
What do you want it to supposedly attempt to clean???
Instead of throwing random useless additives at it, save money to service that thing properly (5k between oil changes, if equipped with a conventional AT service that every 20k-30k)
Just use top tier gas, and you’ll be good.

Why? Is it already having issues?
