I have a 2002 Nissan sentra SE-R. I have waited a long time to buy new aftermarket coilers. Upon removing the stock coilovers, I noticed the top hat of the coilover has some sort of rubber sealant or coating to I assume to prevent water from seeping inside, possibly for prevent vibrations. However, my new after market coilovers do not have a gasket or coating. Nor does the installation instructions call for an installation of one. I wanted to know if i should make one with the gasket maker or does the metal on metal provide enough of a seal to prevent water from entering the cab.
