What's the issue? Is the backlight completely gone or the dimmer does not work? Have you checked the fuse?
It flickers back and forth from bright to another dimmer sometimes I can turn it up to bright as it will go sometimes I can't it just flickers between the two sometimes
I'm thinking that the switch might be faulty. When flickering, if you wiggle the switch, does it make it better or not?
It only flickers for a second or two it's a up and down button i tried turn it up after and it doesn't do anything
The up switch might be faulty. Load test the battery and alternator too.
Replace the dimmer switch.
Why worry about the odometer reading? Get one at a junk yard with less miles on it than you have. Who's gonna know?
