Where do you find information as to whether an engine is an interference engine or not?

I have a 2JZ-GE Engine. My mechanic says it’s not 100% necessary at this time to swap the drive belt but it’s something to keep in mind soon given how long it’s been.

is there anything else you would replace if you’re going to swap the drive belt?

A drive belt breaking doesn't bend valves on an interference engine. It is a timing belt breaking that will bend the valves on an interference engine.

You should be able to Google the information for your vehicle.

I would replace it every 100k miles and replace the water pump and idler pulley while I'm there. That's typically what is recommended.
