Is that normal that I got crack plastic on my 2018 toyota camry? It is the plastic part below the glove box. I live in new jersey and it is super hot outside these past few days.
It's not normal but it can happen, especially if Toyota (or their supplier) cheaped out a bit on the plastic formulation and design of the part. If the car is still under warranty make the dealer replace the plastic piece.
Unfortunately, bought it CPO and cosmetically as is, but that crack just happened probably yesterday, even my girlfriend said it wasn't there before. But thank you the info. I though someone broke into my car and did it purposely lol. (A lot in my work place)
I was gonna say that usually the crack in that area is not due to the sun.
