I am looking at a 1996 Ford Probe 4-speed automatic with 90,000 miles on the body and 83,000 on a new engine that was put into it. Says engine runs smoothly but there is an exhaust leak. They’re asking for $1500. Is this a good car, and is this a good deal if it is?
Would use as just a daily driver

Realize it is a 25 year old car what do you want out of it? A daily driver? Weekend toy? Project car? At this to your topic so we can answer in your context.

No. Nothing good ever came out of a Ford Probe. Even the GT models were lackluster.
