[Solved] Is a Honda Accord Euro 2006 Luxury worth buying

My son's hand-me-down from his mother, 2003 Mazda 6, is experiencing severe automatic transmission slippage, especially when cold.  Slips going from reverse to drive.  Slips during changes and under acceleration until it has warmed up substantially.  After watching one of your videos where someone asked whether they should repair such a problem, you advised it wasn't worth the high cost of repair.  I feel the same.  I have thus begun to look at its replacement.  I have come across a 2006 Honda Accord Euro Luxury with only 143,000 kilometres (88,856 miles) for AUD$4,800 (USD$3,700) and been cared for by a second owner young lady and is in good mechanical order but slightly worn for wear leather seating.  Cars are not as cheap in Australia as in the USA so that amount is considered cheap here.  Would you consider this a good used car to buy?

By the way Scotty, I am an avid, 60 years old Australian subscriber, and have been following you for a very long time. I recommend your channel to everyone I know. You're the only person I trust when it comes to cars.

It can be a good car, but have a mechanic check it, especially the transmission and the AC compressor.
