Hello,
Is it safe to fill the car full tank of fuel & add Stabilizer liquid (Red color Sta-Bil from Walmart) the one that keeps the fuel from going bad, and let the car sit for months or longer. ‘15 Scion xB around 100k miles has burning oil issues and this is a manufacturing issue but dealership refuses to fix it. Since gas prices are going up want to keep fuel in the vehicle for emergency, in case if will need to use this vehicle. The car is a problem anyway as long if it doesn’t cause any major issues like with fuel pump. Any opinions/suggestions will greatly appreciate it.
