Hi all, my dilemma is I have a 2014 Nissan Altima, Automatic FWD with 47k miles in Chicago. I'm a college kid, and with my area's crazy weather and terrible roads, I'm looking to trade for a used SUV (dealerships only). I have my eyes on a few 2014 Dodge Durangos, all around 100k miles, AWD, priced at $15k. Dealerships only offer me about $5k-$6k to trade the Altima in (which I think is low), but I don't know how much life a 2014 Durango is likely to have left in it, or what would be a better option in my budget.

Whatever you do , don't get the Dodge.
Find a RAV4 or just get some winter tires for your car.
Sell your car privately. The dealer will rip you off.
