Do not buy this device.   It's a scam.  It will leave you stranded

A number of things should jump out at you right away. Here are a few:

  • the price. A real portable jump-starter costs $150 and up.
  • "30V output capacity" Your car runs on 12V. 30V would fry your electronics.
  • The size. Something the size of a can of tuna cannot charge your car battery. Unless there's a miniature nuclear fission reactor inside.
  • The wires. Something with lamp cord sized wires will not get your car started in 10 minutes, as they claim. There's a reason that jumper cables and portable jump-starters have thick cables.
  • Nothing that plugs into the cigar lighter port will "charge the car battery enough to start the engine in ten minutes". Your cigar lighter is meant for small currents, like charging your phone. It's fused for 5A. This is why real emergency devices clamp straight to the battery.

This "Forest City Surplus" place should be ashamed of even selling this garbage. They are causing harm to their customers.

Now that I see the picture it looks like an absolute piece of garbage.

No, spamming this site is not a good idea and will get you nowhere.

I am in canada this store is in home town. But ask car starter. 2016 Chevrolet Equinox

Your post reads like an advertisement, which is not something we do here, that's why it is marked "unapproved". It is only visible to you and site staff. As far as whether the gadget is any good, probably not as evidenced by the price and its working through a cigarette lighter connection.

Please do not copy and paste full page ads. It makes it look like your post is selling something. Use a clear, specific title.

I fixed your post for you.

Any good jump starter is going to cost around $100 or more, probably even more in Canada. If you want a built-in air compressor it will cost more.
